Miscellaneous Fees & Service Policies

Jones Seal Notary Loan Signing is committed to providing transparent pricing and professional service for all your document notarization needs. The following miscellaneous fees may apply depending on location, timing, and circumstances of the appointment. All applicable fees will be disclosed prior to scheduling whenever possible.

Travel Fees

Travel fees may apply for mobile notary and loan signing appointments based on distance, location, and time of day.

- Service areas within McKinney, TX may include a standard travel fee

- Extended travel outside the primary service area may incur additional mileage fees

- Long-distance, rural, or high-traffic locations may require an increased travel fee

- Emergency, after-hours, weekend, and holiday appointments may include additional charges

Travel fees compensate for time, mileage, and availability for your mobile notary services.

Wait Time Fees

Appointments are scheduled for a specific time. If the signer or required parties are not ready at the scheduled appointment time, a wait time fee may apply.

- A grace period may be provided at the notary’s discretion

- Additional fees may apply for extended delays

- Excessive wait times may require the appointment to be rescheduled

Wait time fees help ensure availability for other scheduled clients seeking notary public services.

Non-Signing & Cancellation Fees

A non-signing or cancellation fee may apply when an appointment cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the notary’s control, including but not limited to:

- Signer is unavailable, late, or refuses to sign

- Signer lacks acceptable identification

- Documents are incomplete, incorrect, or unavailable

- Appointment is canceled after the notary has arrived or en route

- Signer is not competent or willing to proceed

Non-signing and cancellation fees compensate for reserved time, travel, and administrative preparation for document notarization.

ETS (Electronic Transaction Services)

ETS fees may apply for services that require electronic processing, document handling, or secure technology use, including:

- Remote Online Notarization (RON) platform usage

- Electronic document delivery and processing

- Secure digital recordkeeping and storage

- Technology and compliance-related services

ETS fees support secure, Texas-compliant electronic notarization and document management.

Fee Disclosure & Payment

All fees are disclosed prior to appointment confirmation whenever possible. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at scheduling.
