1. Scope of Services

Jones & Seal Notary provides mobile and remote notary services including general notarizations, loan signings, and real estate closings. All services are performed in accordance with Texas state law and notarial standards.

2. Identification Requirements

Clients must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID at the time of service. Acceptable forms include:

  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • U.S. passport
  • Military ID
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Foreign passport with U.S. visa stamp

Failure to provide proper ID may result in cancellation of the appointment and applicable fees.

3. Payment Terms

  • All fees are disclosed prior to service and are due at the time of signing.
  • Accepted payment methods include card, and Zelle.
  • Travel fees and witness fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once the notary arrives at the appointment.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.
  • If the notary arrives and the signer is unavailable, incoherent, or unprepared, the travel fee will still apply.
  • Delays exceeding 15 minutes may result in cancellation or rescheduling at the notary’s discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure all documents are complete and unsigned prior to the appointment.
  • Secure any required witnesses unless arranged in advance (additional fees may apply).
  • Disclose any special requests or conditions before the appointment.
